The GT-32 “Super-SPEC” Spectrometer is probably the most sensitive handheld geological spectrometer now available. Similar to GT-30, it is a state-of-the art in portable hand-held radiation survey search devices for the geophysical industry. It offers an integrated design with a large detector, direct assay readout, data storage, full weather protection, ease of use and high sensitivity. RS-125 has a built-in 103 cm3 BGO detector with a 1024 channel spectrometer and 4 MB memory storage capability.

In comparison with its sister model GT-30, the GT-32 is 2 – 3 times more sensitive.

In ASSAY mode it provides bedrock concentration analysis with direct data display of K (%), U and Th (ppm) as shown below. It has user selectable sample time for optimum field analysis efficiency.

In SURVEY mode, the unit shows total count display on front panel in cps at 1/sec update rate. A loud linear audio signal permits eyes-free operation. A running histogram shows more than a minute of data samples. This instrument has Bluetooth wireless earphone support for noisy area surveying.
